You may pick up your graduation attire and invitations in Room 500:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday May 15, 16, 17 from 12:30 to 5:30 pm.

Thursday May 18 from 12:30 – 4:30pm (Room 500) and 5:30-7:30pm (at Graduate’s Reception)

You may pick-up yourself or designate someone to pick-up for you.

There is a limit of Ten (10) invitations for Certificate Program and Master’s Program family and friends per graduating student.

Invitations for the Doctoral Program are limited to Sixteen (16).

These are invitations; NOT tickets. You do not need one to enter the ceremony.

The LAST opportunity to pick up invitations and robes is at the Graduate's Reception (by 7:30pm).

The Graduate’s Reception is on Thursday, May 18, 2017 (6-8 pm) at the Interchurch Center (enter through 61 Claremont Ave. & W. 120 St. between Broadway & Riverside Drive). Light refreshments will be served. All candidates for graduation are allowed 1 guest. You must respond to the NYTS RECEPTIONIST by EMAIL to by May 15, 2017 to have your name placed on the list.

DOCTORAL PROGRAM CANDIDATES: The "Hooding Ceremony" is on Friday May 19, 2017 from 2-4 pm at the Interchurch Center; (enter through 61 Claremont Ave. & W. 120 St. between Broadway & Riverside Drive) Candidates must arrive by 1 pm. Space is limited: Seating is for those with “Hooding” tickets.

Commencement Ceremony: Saturday, May 20, 2017

Ceremony begins at 10 am at Riverside Church, Riverside Dr. & W. 120-121 St.

Guests enter on Riverside Drive & W. 120-121 St. Doors open 9am

Candidates gather 9 AM SHARP at the South Hall of Riverside Church; enter through 91 Claremont Ave.
(Between Broadway & Riverside Dr. at W. 121 St) Doors open 9 am
•All candidates MUST arrive at South Hall by 9:00 am to robe, be placed in respective processional formation, and receive instructions.
•NO family or guests will be allowed in the South Hall staging area.
•Please leave your purses/coats/personal belongings with someone from your family BEFORE you go into South Hall. There is NO coat-check and NO security in South Hall; (you will not be allowed to process with purses, bags etc.).
•The ceremony will begin promptly at 10 am and lasts approximately 2 – 2 1/2 hours.
•After the ceremony ends ALL graduates MUST go back to South Hall to receive their diplomas and have class graduation pictures taken. This process takes about a half hour to 45 minutes. Please make arrangements with family and friends to wait for you at a designated area. They will NOT be allowed in South Hall.
